Del.icio.us question?

On del.icio.us when you have the 'saved by' link at the top of my monitor say its been saved by 700 people its a very dark red but as I scroll up (i usually go backwards from the last page when looking at peoples links) it gets lighter and lighter. Is that to do with the settings of the site or is that my monitor? I am working on a Gateway FPD1765 flatscreen monitor.
