Help! My macbook pro 2.4gz slowed down so much in quicktime conversion exports? can it be broken?

I dropped it a few days ago.. everything seems fine. But export times are like 10X slower in final cut, quicktime or premiere.. I tried changing the internal hard drive and got more ram.. still slow.. i even formatted it and reinstalled leopard. Is it normal 30min to export 2min of video from quicktime on a 2.4 gz duo core macbook pro?
