the qur'an provides us no more scientific knowledge than what people knew in the 7th century, because it is another book of ancient mythology. It is easy to take any ancient text and pick out where it "predicted" something after the fact, this is nothing more than a fallacy. Actually making a prediction is another story, the qur'an will never make a prediction because it is a book ancient myths and nothing more.
